At 2H Talent, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction department, you will oversee and manage all aspects of on-site construction activities for assigned multifamily projects.

Job Description:

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for leading and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Key responsibilities include:

  • Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a culture of safety on the job site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, protocols, and procedures.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage on-site construction activities for assigned projects, including scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of workmanship and materials, conducting inspections and implementing quality control measures to ensure that construction meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential delays or obstacles.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Budget Control: Monitor project costs, labor expenses, and material usage to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar leadership role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials, with expertise in multifamily projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
