Qualifications Required:
- Colorado State Special Services Provider OR State Teacher's License
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA certification
- State Speech Language Pathology License
Every state mandates that Speech Language Pathologists possess a state license. If you do not currently hold a license for a specific state, our licensing team at PDS will assist you throughout the process.
Daily Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your day will revolve around improving the lives of children. You will play a crucial role in setting them up for success in both educational settings and beyond, which is not only meaningful work but also a rewarding career.
Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality services to students based on their IEPs/504 plans. This involves conducting evaluations, assessments, and writing reports to identify their strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
