About This Role:
Baker Publishing Group is currently seeking candidates for the role of Marketing Assistant within the Bethany House and Revell Fiction division.

The marketing assistant will collaborate closely with marketing campaign managers, delivering essential administrative support throughout the marketing lifecycle.


Position Objective:
To assist the fiction marketing team in achieving its goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain databases and project management tools with accurate and current information.
2. Place and monitor warehouse shipping orders while organizing internal mailings.
3. Coordinate advertising strategies and liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
4. Process vendor agreements and invoices efficiently.
5. Create and modify Adobe files as needed.
6. Develop and sustain spreadsheets for team and individual data tracking.
7. Facilitate internal communications on behalf of the marketing team.
8. Schedule meetings and gather necessary materials.
9. Provide additional support as required.

Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
- Quick adaptability to new technologies and systems (e.g., ERP systems, mailing software).
- Basic knowledge of database and project management tools preferred (e.g., Asana).
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adhere to schedules.
- Self-motivated individual capable of meeting personal and team deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation is based on qualifications and experience.
