Job Title: OBD Diagnostic Supervisor

PACCAR is seeking a highly skilled OBD Diagnostic Supervisor to lead a team of engineers in developing OBD diagnostic functions to meet regulatory requirements and reduce dash lamp on time throughout all development phases of the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of OBD calibrators to develop OBD diagnostic functions
  • Lead a team to perform pre-calibration work on an engine dyno and apply it to the vehicle level
  • Perform diagnostic routines, report findings, and provide recommendations to improve system reliability and durability
  • Define, purchase, and maintain all hardware and software tools required to interface with engine management systems
Requirements:
  • Excellent leadership skills with 2 years of experience as a supervisor or team lead
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in association with OBD
  • In-depth knowledge of powertrain management systems, including performance, experience with in-vehicle engine and engine-vehicle calibration, and data acquisition systems
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Self-directed, with excellent analysis, communication, and presentation skills
