Key Responsibilities:

  • **Working Armed Site Supervisor on shift**: Provide security services to clients and ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets.
  • **Interact with all guests in a professional demeanor**: Foster positive relationships with clients, residents, and visitors through effective communication and support.
  • **Develop and implement site-specific security policies**: Create and execute security plans to successfully execute contracts and ensure compliance.
  • **Ensure officers are performing all assigned duties**: Verify that security personnel are completing tasks, including time sheets, daily logs, activity, and incident reports.
  • **Review and verify all reports and logs for accuracy**: Conduct thorough reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • **Address and rectify all employee relation and payroll concerns**: Resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • **Recruit, hire, and train officers**: Attract and develop skilled security personnel to meet operational performance and coverage needs.
  • **Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance**: Verify uniform and equipment standards are met.
  • **Utilize approved security equipment**: Effectively use security tools, including CCTV, radios, computers, and tablets.
  • **Effectively communicate all pertinent information to the team**: Share critical information in a timely and clear manner.
  • **Manage security personnel**: Schedule, counsel, and take disciplinary action when necessary.
  • **Other duties to be determined by management**: Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • **Must be at least 21 years of age**: Meet the minimum age requirement.
  • **Armed Ohio Security License**: Possess a valid armed security license.
  • **Valid OH Driver's License and clean driving history**: Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • **High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred**: Meet the minimum educational requirement.
  • **Minimum of three years previous security experience required**: Possess relevant security experience.
  • **Flexible/on-call schedule availability**: Be available to work flexible schedules, including on-call shifts.
  • **Professional demeanor and appearance**: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • **Excellent computer skills**: Possess strong computer skills.
  • **Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)**: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • **Attentive to detail**: Maintain attention to detail.
  • **Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment**: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • **Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required**: Possess relevant experience with security equipment and protocols.
