We are seeking a skilled Medical Radiographer to join our team at Baptist Health. As a Medical Radiographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform EKGs, venipunctures, pulmonary function testing, and other lab procedures with accuracy.
- Accurately obtain vital signs and record patient data in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct radiographic exams and maintain radiation safety per departmental policy.
- Keep all x-ray equipment and supplies clean, maintained, and stocked.
- Apply splints, braces, and wound dressings correctly.
- Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
- Prepare maintenance requests as needed.
- Respect and promote patient rights, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit friendly and helpful behaviors.
- Respond to emergencies in an appropriate manner and according to policy.
- Follow all OSHA and departmental policies; perform quality control and record data as necessary.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Limited Radiographer Certification required.
- RT license may be considered in place of LMR.
- BCLS required.
- Minimum two years of LMR and direct patient care experience preferred.
