Countryside Veterinary Center is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and digital radiographs
- Perform lab work using Idexx equipment and assist with dentistry and dental radiography
- Administer medications, monitor anesthesia, and provide client education
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations
- High school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
- Illinois certified and licensed preferred, but not required
- Positive attitude, excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
