About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to join our team at Diedre Moire Corp. as a Habitation Real Estate Risk Specialist. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for underwriting, developing, and maintaining profitable program business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with marketing, underwriting, modeling, rating, and servicing coverage solutions for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and agents to identify new business opportunities.
  • Monitor program results and conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor junior underwriters in risk analysis, program structuring, and program monitoring.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting, with a focus on property and casualty.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
