- Work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
- Provide patient counseling and education on medication use and management.
- Assist with dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions, and monitoring compliance.
- Develop and implement patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal care and support.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a US accredited school of pharmacy.
- Active Pharmacy Intern license in the state where the district is located.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Eligibility to immunize patients.
