Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating welder settings, gun speed, and gas flow to produce high-quality structural steel products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding and fitting, with experience working with thin gauge, painted, or galvanized material.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate welder settings, gun speed, and gas flow to produce high-quality structural steel products
* Perform MIG welding and fitting tasks on a variety of structural steel components
* Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards
* Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year experience in welding and fitting in a production environment or valid welding certification
* Ability to read blueprints and drawings
* Ability to obtain and maintain CWB and AWS welding certification
* Experience with forklift and/or overhead crane operation a plus
