Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Chatuge Regional Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including assessment, treatment, and management of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including those requiring mechanical ventilation
- Consult with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on respiratory care and disease management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Georgia license as a Respiratory Care Professional
- CPR certification
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- At least two years of experience in a hospital or medical setting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Emotional maturity and ability to function effectively under stress
