About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Winter Garden. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our patients, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including hot and cold foods, using proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Ensure that all food products are ordered, stored, and served according to recipe specifications and proper procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all sanitation and safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, guests, and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goal of providing outstanding food service.

Requirements:

  • People-oriented, with a friendly, courteous disposition.
  • Receptive to change and able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Self-motivated, professional appearance, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to observe and listen well, be committed to high-quality standards, and show initiative to make decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServSafe or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in a fast-food or short-order environment.
