Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular team at Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital. As a RN Specialty Cath Lab FT Days, you will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Provide education to patients and families on cardiovascular health, medication management, and post-procedure care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

  • Current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred.
