Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our team at White Cap. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of power mechanical equipment and company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate records on maintenance, repair, and fuel levels of equipment.
  • Maintain all decals, safety warnings, and company ID stickers.
  • Complete work orders for internal and external repairs.
  • Repair power and mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain company vehicles.
  • Check and refuel equipment.
  • Clean, inspect, service, and test equipment prior to tagging Ready-to-Rent.
  • Report safety violations to supervisor.
Work Environment

This role typically involves working in a comfortable environment with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.

Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.

Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
  • Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
