As an Industrial Mechanic with Adecco US, Inc., you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Your attention to detail and mechanical expertise will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Overhaul and repair equipment components such as motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
  • Execute timely and efficient repairs, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Replace defective parts, ensuring the use of appropriate materials and following equipment specifications.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate major equipment repairs and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Provide detailed reports on equipment conditions, highlighting any recurring issues or trends.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.
  • Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role with a minimum of one (1) year experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.
  • Must be able to follow directions.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in industrial mechanics.
  • Must have a rolling cart toolbox of your own.
  • Must have steel toe boots.
  • Must have your own tools up to 3⁄4 inch socket/wrench set.
