This position is responsible for performing electrocardiographs, Holter, and transtelephonic monitoring, as well as other related examinations, to diagnose and manage cardiac conditions in pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrocardiographs, Holter, and transtelephonic monitoring examinations on pediatric patients
  • Conduct rhythms and limited exercise testing as directed by medical staff
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient data
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; certification and basic college courses preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on pediatric ECGs
  • Medical Assistant certification with prior experience in pediatric ECGs preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Physical Demands:

  • Sit for up to 3 hours per day
  • Stand and walk for 6-8 hours
  • Bend and stoop for up to 3 hours
  • Reach for up to 6 hours
  • Use of upper extremities and grasping for up to 6 hours
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds; assistance or equipment may be required for heavier loads
