About the Role

The Internet Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in managing and responding to online sales inquiries for Gerry Lane Chevrolet. With a strong focus on customer service, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional support to potential customers throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to final purchase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to online sales inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist customers in finding the right vehicle to meet their needs and budget
  • Follow up with potential customers to answer any questions and provide additional information
  • Negotiate and finalize sales agreements with online customers
  • Coordinate with dealership's sales team to ensure a smooth transition from online to in-person sales
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the dealership's CRM system
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and goals

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers via email, phone, and online chat
  • Knowledge of automotive features, specifications, and financing options
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and online sales platforms
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with current social media and online marketing trends

Compensation and Benefits:
