Job Summary

The RN Team Coordinator is a key member of the nursing team at Bristol Regional Medical Center, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading the team to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Assist with patient assignments, planning, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Facilitate communication within the department and interdepartmentally to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts at the unit level and escalate as necessary.
  • Provide education and implementation of patient-centered care and department/organization initiatives.
  • Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • College degree required; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience required; 1-3 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Valid and active RN license in the appropriate state for practice.
  • AHA BLS certification required; ACLS certification obtained within 1 year of assuming the position and maintained continuously.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a rotating weekend schedule. The RN Team Coordinator will work in a fast-paced acute care environment and must be able to work effectively in a team setting.
