The Valet Parking Attendant plays a vital role in providing exceptional service to our guests at Sonesta International Hotels. This position is responsible for ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for our guests by efficiently transporting their luggage and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Interaction: Welcome and acknowledge all arriving guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Luggage Transportation: Transport luggage to and from guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Parking and Vehicle Management: Safely drive, park, retrieve, and move a variety of motor vehicles.
  • Guest Assistance: Direct guests to appropriate hotel staff for assistance with questions and special requests regarding food, laundry, concierge services, or housekeeping.
  • Problem Resolution: Respond appropriately to guest complaints and inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances, or dissatisfied guests.
  • Hotel Promotion: Promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests and provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Driving Requirements: Valid US Driver License and driving history that shows a history of safe conduct.
  • Language Skills: Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently standing up for extended periods, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 100 pounds, handling objects, products, and computer equipment.
