Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring the building is secure, and maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Cash Handling and Customer Service: Assist with procedures related to cash registers and cash handling, deliver excellent customer service, and handle customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Merchandise Management: Stock and return merchandise, ensure all merchandise is displayed appropriately, and maintain the overall appearance of the store.
  • Team Management: Direct staff as needed, maintain the cleanliness of the store, and adhere to and enforce all Goodwill policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED
  • Experience: Minimum of two years' retail experience (or related type work)
  • Skills: Ability to use the cash register, follow Goodwill Industries policies and procedures, and lift 15-35 pounds
  • Availability: Ability to work full time, all shifts Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, and extra shifts as necessary
