Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Infant Development Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide quality Speech Language Pathology services to clients, achieving and maintaining productivity standards established by the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate time records, progress notes, and professional records on all patients seen for speech pathology services.
  • Provide diagnostic and evaluative services, including diagnostic and evaluative reports with recommendations for each person seen for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology services.
  • Compile and report accurate data for financial, statistical, and administrative needs of the Speech-Language Pathology Programs.
  • Coordinate evaluation, scheduling, and treatment programs of clients referred for Speech-Language Therapy.
  • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, staff development, departmental committees, and in-service education programs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competency) or meet the educational requirements for certification and be in the process of completing the Clinical Fellowship year.
  • CPR certification.
  • Speech Pathologist license required for state in which employee provides services.
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73 FBI Clearance, and UPMC's Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
