Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

Select Medical is seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist to join our therapy team in Harrisburg, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience treating patients from pediatric to adult, including hand therapy and neuro patients. This position requires close collaboration with Occupational Therapists and Physicians to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and establish treatment goals and programs
  • Provide ongoing evaluation and coordination of treatment programs
  • Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes
  • Collaborate with other clinical/therapeutic services to provide quality patient care

Qualifications:

  • Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year
  • State licensure/registration where appropriate
  • ASHA certification is required
  • 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required
