Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Nurse Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the nursing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, applying current health concepts and performing routine duties to the level of academic competence accomplished in the individual's educational program(s) under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Contribute to the assigned unit nursing team, functioning as a member of the unit and remaining abreast of current trends/information in nursing and applying this knowledge/information to practice.
  • Attend required unit meetings/classes and apply your knowledge, judgment, and skills as based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological sciences.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled as a student in an accredited school preparing persons to practice as a Registered Nurse and completed at least one academic term which included a clinical component /OR Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Nursing Technician Registered credential.
  • Documentation of current clinical competencies from completed Nursing School course work.
  • Current BLS certification.
