Radiation Therapist

To provide high-quality patient care as a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiotherapy to patients for curative or palliative treatment. This role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely treatment delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide accurate and timely radiotherapy consistent with prescribing physicians' prescriptions and treatment goals.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation according to departmental standards.
Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy.
* Current Florida State Licensed Radiation Therapist.
* ARRT or registry eligible as a Radiation Therapist.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Physical and Mental Demands:
* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, several times daily.
* Ability to work in a stressful environment and respond to life-threatening situations.
Work Environment:
* Radiation Oncology department in a hospital setting.
