Key Responsibilities
The Equipment Repair Specialist works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to repair, replace, or modify plant vehicles and equipment. The specialist is responsible for maintaining all company vehicles and equipment while meeting time-sensitive deadlines. Depending on the production schedule, the specialist may work independently or collaborate with others in the yard.

- Maintains accurate inventory counts for the Maintenance Manager and informs them of ordering needs.
- Keeps an accurate inventory of parts and needed supplies.
- Repairs any issues or breakdowns on company vehicles or equipment.
- Assists in parts repair and replacement for various types of equipment and vehicles.
- Assists with plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Assists with fabrication functions such as welding and torch cutting.
- Safely operates all power tools.
- Coordinates with all departments to ensure all vehicles and equipment are working properly.
- Cleans the work area at the end of each shift.
- Performs all tasks assigned by the Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Adheres to and supports all Quality Control and Safety Standards, as well as all Company policies.
- Reports to work on time, physically and mentally ready to work, and operates all tasks in a safe manner.
Work Schedule
This full-time position typically works Monday - Friday, 5:00 am / 6:30 am start with some Saturdays as needed.
This position is 40-45+ hours and pays overtime.
Required Education and Experience
- Within the last 10 years, 2 years of experience and/or training in vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Preferred Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Heavy machinery experience
- Diesel
- Hydraulics
