Job Summary

Leader Communications Inc is seeking a highly skilled Unified Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing critical infrastructure and network support to ensure seamless communication across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on telecommunications equipment, including VoIP and network systems, to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to customers, including telephone and infrastructure requirements, to ensure their needs are met.
  • Infrastructure Development: Design, implement, and maintain voice and data networks, including dial tone service, to connect to any location worldwide.
  • Telecommunications Operations: Operate and maintain digital, Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) telephone and Unified Capabilities (UC) service, including telephone moves, adds, and changes.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve Service Requests and User Incidents through remote administration actions, including troubleshooting and repairing, to minimize downtime.
  • System Administration: Configure and install digital, Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) telephone and UC service, including IVMS and DTMF signaling.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure all systems and networks meet security and organizational policies and procedures, including user security via pin/password management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
  • Experience: Level II: 3-6 years' experience in an IT environment. Level III: Minimum of 7 years' experience in an IT environment.
  • Certifications: Possess or able to obtain an IAT Level III certification, including Security+, CCNA, UCS, Nortel, CISCO (CCNP, CCIE, SACS, CWCS, CCM), NEXUS, Nortel, IDS, Radius, VPN, DHCP, Solarwinds, Syslogs, CISCO-IP-phones, Protocols/Services, Netview.
  • Skills: Proficient with Cisco Switching, VoIP Systems, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
