Job Title:
Operations Specialist - Chargebacks and Collections

Reports to:
Operations Assistant Manager

The Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality maintenance of Bank systems and timely processing of assigned duties. Key responsibilities include researching and processing returned deposited checks to prevent loss, posting transactions to accounts, and communicating with branch/department personnel via E-Ticket and telephone regarding inquiries on charge backs, large deposits, and collection items. Additionally, the Operations Specialist will communicate with other financial institutions regarding large item returns, process, track, and monitor foreign collections, and review large deposit images for loss prevention. This is a full-time position with office hours Monday - Friday 08:30am - 5pm, with the possibility of evening and weekend work as job duties demand.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace; bilingual skills a plus.
