Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Collision Center Manager to join our team at Hertrich Family of Dealerships. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our collision center, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet all customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Insurance Relations: Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with insurance companies, fleet, and manufacturers, ensuring that our business is well-positioned to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Estimating and Repair: Perform the duties of an estimator, examining and inspecting damaged vehicles and creating estimates for repair costs to restore them to their pre-loss condition.
  • Production and Cost Control: Assist in controlling all production/shop costs, ensuring that our business operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Support: Work closely with the General Manager to ensure that our team is well-supported and equipped to meet the needs of our customers.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years minimum of continued experience in a collision center or auto body shop, preferably with prior automotive body shop estimating/insurance adjuster experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Understands and knowledge of the collision repair process, with confidence in handling high volumes and under pressure. Strong computer skills with collision management software experience, preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
  • License: Valid license, with minimal motor vehicle infractions.
