Job Summary:

This role provides quality care to patients and families to promote health and prevent disease under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs general nursing care in accordance with nursing practice standards, prioritizing patient needs and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

• Assists with the preparation of equipment and supports the physician/clinical provider during treatment, examination, and testing of patients, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

• Collects assessment data, prepares patients for examination, and documents clinical information on patient records, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

• Orders diagnostic tests as directed by the registered nurse or physician/clinical provider, gathering and reviewing results prior to assessment, ensuring accurate and timely communication.

• Schedules procedures and obtains authorizations as necessary, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• May administer injections or medication, collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, and prepare them for testing, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.

• Current state licensure as an LPN or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

• CPR – American Heart Association certification.

• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.

• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.

• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.

• Preferred qualifications include 1 year of healthcare experience, state-approved IV course certification, knowledge of OASIS documentation and assessment process, and PALS or ACLS certification based on the specific area of practice.

Pay Range:

$18.66 - $28.65

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.
