Job Title: Health Information Management Director

Job Summary:
The HIM Director is responsible for managing the daily processes, workflow, and personnel related to birth and death certificates, medical record scanning, scanned chart corrections, and forms management for the UK HealthCare enterprise HIM department. The incumbent ensures that procedures are carried out in a consistent manner throughout the UK HealthCare HIM department within the areas of their responsibility. They are responsible for staff timekeeping, productivity, workflow, quality assurance, performance management and evaluation, hiring, corrective action, and other management duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the HIM department's daily operations, including staff supervision, workflow, and quality assurance
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of HIM services
• Analyze and improve workflows to increase efficiency and productivity
• Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
• 5+ years of experience in HIM management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to analyze and improve workflows
• Experience with budget management and resource allocation
