Job Summary

As a Lead Cardiopulmonary Technologist at Raleigh General Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care in our Cardiopulmonary Services department. This leadership position requires a strong background in cardiac ultrasound and a proven ability to supervise and train others.

Key Responsibilities

Conducts and modifies prescribed diagnostic procedures

Selects and checks equipment necessary to perform diagnostic tests

Maintains patient records and communicates relevant information to healthcare teams

Continues self-development and assists with orientation and continuing education of trainees, medical staff, and other hospital employees

Requirements

Associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Bachelor of Science required

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist certification preferred

Minimum two years experience as a cardiac ultrasound sonographer

Prior experience as a team leader or supervisor preferred
