Duties and Responsibilities:
* Meet customer demands to ensure mutual growth and prosperity.
* Hold P&L responsibility for the business.
* Estimate prices to maximize profitability while costing products with internal and external suppliers.
* Coordinate the launch of new projects with both internal and external customers.
* Collaborate with Sales, Production, Quality, and Engineering personnel to ensure accurate job quoting, correct routing, adherence to quality standards, efficient operations, and production of parts that meet customer expectations.
* Manage new projects using defined processes.
* Coordinate staff efficiently and effectively to support company and project management goals and objectives.
* Maintain responsibility for all blueprints, sales master files, pricing history, detailed pricing documentation, and quality requirements for new projects.
* Bring all departments together to produce quality products on time and profitably.
* Oversee Product Management, Estimating, Purchasing, Customer Service (related to the customer experience), Scheduling, Inventory, Production Control, Receiving, and Shipping.
Employment Requirements:
* Education/Experience: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance will be accepted. Typical qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 2-5 years of experience.
* Knowledge: Must be familiar with the principles and practices of Sales and Marketing, and Project Management. Must demonstrate the ability to read and understand component drawings and tolerance schemes. General knowledge of the production of tubular steel parts is a plus. Experience running a business is the end result.
