About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the provision of care through assigning and scheduling staff, prioritizing and delegating tasks, and evaluating patient care provided by nursing staff. They will also assist in Process Improvement activities, work with the interdisciplinary team to problem-solve system and unit-based issues, and provide input into nursing staff performance appraisals.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the provision of care through assigning and scheduling staff
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Evaluate patient care provided by nursing staff
  • Assist in Process Improvement activities
  • Work with the interdisciplinary team to problem-solve system and unit-based issues
  • Provide input into nursing staff performance appraisals
Requirements
  • Associate Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan
  • One to two years of progressively more responsible experience in a surgical setting
  • Strong clinical background and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.
