About the Role

Salem Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Credentialing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for verifying and maintaining up-to-date credentials for all staff, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and maintain accurate and complete credentialing documentation for all staff.
  • Generate and analyze reports on credentialing status to support departmental objectives.
  • Develop and sustain updated credentialing processes, focusing on automation and improved governance.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in Infor and conduct regular audits to identify potential gaps.
  • Communicate with leaders regarding necessary timelines, documentation requirements, and process updates.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and accreditation standards related to healthcare credentials.

Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a role with reporting and data management responsibilities.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, health administration, or a related field is preferred.
