Job Title: Project Accountant

EFK Moen, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial support and guidance to project managers and other leadership throughout the lifecycle of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely financial management to project managers, including creating and ensuring client invoices comply with contract terms and client-specific requests.
  • Obtain necessary invoice information from project managers and post invoices into the accounting system.
  • Maintain a monthly invoice control log and electronic filing system of all project files.
  • Set-up projects in the accounting system and maintain budget and schedule changes.
  • Prepare project accounting reports for project managers, including project profitability reports, project forecasts, and resource needs analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the AEC industry.
  • Knowledge of governmental accounting and Federal Acquisition Regulations is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficiency in electronic accounting systems and Microsoft Office software.
