Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team at Bayonne Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing optimal nutrition care to admitted patients, including nutrition assessment and intervention, malnutrition identification, and nutrition counseling.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nutrition care to patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nutrition interventions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct nutrition education and counseling sessions with patients and their families
  • Participate in performance improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Food and Nutrition and an ACEND accredited dietetic internship
  • RD (Registered Dietitian) certification
  • Acute care experience desired, but new graduates will be considered
