Job Title: Automation Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Design Engineer to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation solutions using CAD software such as SolidWorks and ACAD
  • Work independently and under limited direction to prepare clear and accurate working plans and detail drawings
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of mechanisms, drafting practices, and mathematics to complete drawings
  • Present finished designs and work with project lead and project engineers to revise and/or create new designs
  • Implement principles of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y
  • Use ACAD and SolidWorks to a proficient or advanced level; use other basic software to a proficient level including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of designing and developing automation solutions
  • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and ACAD
  • Strong understanding of mechanisms, drafting practices, and mathematics
  • Ability to work independently and under limited direction
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical Device / automotive experience
  • Proven track record of designing and developing automation solutions for mass production
