Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at Heath Consultants Incorporated. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating portable instruments used by the Utility industry to identify natural gas leaks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument Assembly and Testing: Assemble, test, and calibrate portable instruments to ensure they meet the required specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair instruments to identify and resolve issues.
  • Component Construction and Assembly: Construct components and/or subassemblies and assemble electronic equipment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete necessary documentation and report improper operations, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervision.
  • Quality Improvement: Recommend improvements in quality, procedures, components, and processes.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years' experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
  • Skills: Not afraid to learn new skills quickly; must be computer literate.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Offers of employment are contingent on passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Heath Consultants Incorporated is an equal opportunity employer and offers competitive salary.

Pay Range: $25.00 per hour
