Position Overview:
The LPN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their health and safety while adhering to established protocols and standards. This role involves working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and may include overseeing the activities of other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care and treatments as per established guidelines.
- Conduct health screenings and collect laboratory samples.
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies and procedures.
- Assist in training and mentoring nursing staff.
Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Candidates must be available to work every other weekend and participate in holiday shifts.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage of $31.
- Weekly pay schedule.
- Health insurance options available for full-time employees (minimum of 30 hours per week).
Qualifications:
- Active Nursing License.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
- Current Tuberculosis (TB) screening; a chest X-ray is required for positive TB results.
- Current influenza vaccination (medical and religious exemptions available).
- Official college transcript.
Additional Requirements:
All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and fingerprinting process.
