Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Mount Sinai West. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans and other diagnostic exams, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing patients for CT scans and other diagnostic exams
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images
  • Position patients to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient imaging procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive CT experience (will consider new graduates)
  • Excellent technical skills, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and positioning
  • New York State License (L.R.T.)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current CT certification
  • Current CPR certification
