Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT radiologic procedures at an advanced skills level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs CT Scan Radiology studies, obtains patient history, and explains routine procedures to patients.
  • Administers intravenous contrast media under the direct supervision of a physician and recognizes complications, treating them appropriately.
  • Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations and positions and transfers patients comfortably.
  • Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures.
  • Performs duties as an on-call technologist, trains new staff, and has passed the CT specialty exam as per ARRT.
  • Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
  • 2 years of related experience required.
  • Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography (RT(R)(CT)) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
Working Environment

This role requires standing, walking, and sitting frequently, as well as carrying and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. The occupational hazards include exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
