Job Title: Production Manager Cabinet Shop

The Production Manager Cabinet Shop will oversee and manage all production operations on the shop floor, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This role requires proficiency in CAD and Cutrite, as well as the ability to operate CNC machines and program them effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the shop floor and ensure all team members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all team members.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to monitor equipment reliability and implement improvements.
  • Manage daily and weekly production requirements, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Support plant layout changes and direct efficient flow in all departments through standard work for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising a production/manufacturing team.
  • Experience in the cabinetry industry is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations.
Working Conditions:

The Production Manager Cabinet Shop will work in both an office and manufacturing environment, requiring the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to infrequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand equipment manuals and blueprints.
