Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to provide an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Merchandising: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
  • Associate Support: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, and ensure they complete tasks and activities according to store plan.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area.
  • Customer Service: Engage and interact with all customers, and maintain a clean and organized store to provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with peers and supervisors to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, and able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

We offer a competitive starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
