Position Overview:

This role is primarily based in Duluth, MN, but we welcome applicants from any of our locations (McKinney, TX; Chandler, AZ; Knoxville, TN; Grand Forks, ND) and remote work for the right candidate.

All selected candidates will be required to participate in a two-week on-site training program in Duluth, MN, and will need to be present in Duluth, MN for 1-2 weeks each quarter (specific dates are flexible).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of engineering schematics, assembly instructions, and non-conformance reports to ensure completeness and prompt action on outstanding items.
  • Evaluate engineering Bills of Materials and perform physical inventory checks of parts and assemblies in preparation for production.
  • Monitor action items and ensure timely completion by responsible parties.
  • Execute assigned tasks or other duties as directed by the Program Manager or their representative.

Required Skills:

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and assembly instructions (training will be provided).
  • Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
  • Prior experience in auditing is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting is mandatory.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, which may necessitate significant overtime to achieve critical milestones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable presenting in front of groups (in-person or via virtual platforms).
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, TEAMS, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Power BI and JIRA is a plus.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • Knowledge of aircraft or automotive design and certification processes is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft systems and structures is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
  • Exceptional communication abilities are required.
