Psychiatrist Opportunity

Family Care Center is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at our Louisville Clinic. As a Psychiatrist, you will provide high-quality care to patients, conducting diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and managing psychopharmacologic treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments using the bio-psycho-social model
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans through multi-disciplinary collaboration
  • Initiate and manage psychopharmacologic treatments
  • Order and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic test results
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals when hospitalization is required
Requirements:
  • MD or DO required
  • ACGME-accredited residency training program in psychiatry preferred
  • Current medical license in state of practice
  • Current and unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration in the state of practice
  • Certification from the American Board of Medical Specialists (ABMS)
