Position Overview

Deptford Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to oversee our nursing unit. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all supervisory functions for the designated nursing unit.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of staff policies and procedures.
  • Provide mentorship to junior nursing staff, offering both clinical guidance and career development support.
  • Ensure compliance with care standards within the unit.
  • Conduct reviews of resident records and assess the quality of care provided.
  • Monitor the overall care of residents and evaluate individual cases.
  • Address any inquiries or concerns raised by residents or their families.
  • Advocate for the interests of the nursing unit with upper management.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Charge Nurse role is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills are essential.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities are required.
  • Prior supervisory experience is necessary.
