Job Summary:

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the mechanical scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with string line installation
  • Conduct laser surveys
  • Participate in pile shakeout and installation
  • Support pile remediation efforts
  • Contribute to tracker shakeout and slew gear installation
  • Install torque tubes and drive lines
  • Install motors and huck and BOM components
  • Conduct MIB and damper installations
  • Stage and install modules
  • Perform tracker and module QA/QC
Requirements:
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
  • Experience working on construction projects preferred
Education:
  • GED or equivalent education preferred

Eligible to promote to General Labor II after 60 days of Labor I experience AND meets leadership expectations in safety, quality of work, attendance and punctuality, productivity, and positive attitude.
