We're looking for a skilled Machine Learning Specialist to join our team and help drive innovation in the field of document analysis. This role is perfect for engineers who are passionate about using machine learning and computer vision to drive business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deploy novel approaches for using OCR on identity documents
  2. Design and implement systems for text detection and extraction, document layout recognition, and language detection
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success
  4. Continuously improve and refine document detection and extraction models

Requirements:

  • An advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, computer science) and experience in software engineering in a production environment
  • 5+ years industry experience working on end-to-end OCR systems
  • Expertise in machine learning and computer vision, with a focus on OCR and document analysis
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Nice to have: previous experience or interest in identity verification products

Estimated Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 per year
