Position Overview

We invite you to join our team as the Coffee Shop Operations Leader, where you will play a pivotal role in our narrative. As a vital member of the Auberge family, we seek a proactive facilities manager capable of overseeing budgets, capital projects, and maintenance efforts while upholding the highest standards of luxury in service and product quality.

The Gavel Café Team Supervisor will guide our barista team daily, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include managing opening and closing procedures, inventory oversight, and adherence to health guidelines. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a seamless operation.

Key Responsibilities

While this list is not exhaustive, the essential duties for this role include:
  • Providing mentorship and training to the barista team.
  • Ensuring compliance with all standard operating procedures daily.
  • Facilitating positive customer interactions and delivering high-quality coffee consistently.
  • Directing the team on service, merchandising, and cleanliness standards.
  • Preparing exceptional coffee and non-coffee beverages using various equipment.
  • Guaranteeing prompt, courteous, and efficient service to guests.
  • Training team members on product knowledge and service techniques.
  • Proactively addressing needs and preventing issues to maintain smooth operations.
  • Contributing to a clean and inviting coffee shop environment.
  • Maintaining clear communication with service and management teams.
  • Assisting guests with inquiries regarding menu items.
  • Guiding guests through their selections.
  • Ensuring stock levels are consistently maintained.
Compensation

Hourly Rate: $23.00

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to lead by example, communicate effectively, and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and organizational skills.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current Food Handler's Card.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated initiative and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
