We are seeking a skilled Commercial Collections Representative to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. As a key member of our Commercial Lending Operations division, you will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality account portfolio through various activities such as maintenance, collections, restructuring, modification, refinancing, transferring, and file updating on all leases, lease purchases, conditional sales contracts, and promissory notes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high-quality account portfolio through the maintenance, collections, restructuring, modification, refinancing, transferring, and file updating on all leases, lease purchases, conditional sales contracts, and promissory notes.
  • Disposition equipment through sales, renewal, and release on all terminations.
  • Utilize a solid understanding of company policies, procedures, and collection systems in performance of duties.
  • Receive direction from supervisors.
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives.
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Interact with internal customers.
  • Receive direction from leaders.
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:
  • 6+ months of Commercial Collections experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Collections experience.
  • Banking or financial operations experience.
  • Customer service/Customer Care experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to provide strong customer service while actively listening and responding in an appropriate manner.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to influence and drive for results and process improvement.

Work Environment:
  • Candidates must be willing to work additional hours as needed.
